What happened at Boone's farm ?

 Not long ago, as Lady Rhyssa wheeled a way in her Air Ship, the boys ( Watson , Holmes, and Chuck ), began to gather their marbles, what marbles they dis have.  Chuck as the most surprised, , as he had developed a bit of a shine for the lady, and so felt a bit flat footed.  Watson of course was the least surprised , because, well, he had known her the longest, and this was kind of normal behavior.  Holmes, always trying to be objective, simply assumed she had good motives, and was more concerned about fitting the pieces of the puzzle he did have together. 

The big piece that he could see, was that there was some abnormal interest in the mineral extraction going on, which is to say more than might be expected.  He also knew, that whatever the artifact was that they pursued , it was something of more than passing interest, as they had met with pointers, all along their route.
